Provider Information

I grew up with two brothers and three sisters. At the age of ten, I began babysitting. I worked at Saint Elizabeth's hospital as a nurse's aide. I studied to become a nurse but decided to raise a family first. I have raised three wonderful daughters and have helped care for 13 nieces and nephews.

   I have been a child care provider since 1978, and can provide you with excellent references. I am fully licensed, insured and certified in first aid and cpr. I receive an early childhood degree fromm Wheelock College. In 2009 I received a CDA credential. I was a past member of the Mass. Assoc. for Daycare Providers- the national Assoc. for  the Education of Young Children- Mass. Business Assoc - also the Contact/Coordinator  of the Medfield family childcare support group - Treasurer of Charles River Community Partnership. 

I am activley involved  with the Enable/Cole Harrington  program - Charles  River Community Partnership - Nutrition, Education & Child Care Food Program. I regularly attend continuing educatiob workshops, courses and seminars.

PROVIDER STATEMENT
I provide the nurturing that babies and young children need in a home away from home environment. 
Each child receives individual attention from me each day and infants are never left alone with other children. Though not a pre-school, I provide a full program to prepare the older children for kindergarten. My goal is to help each child, at their own pace, attain personal success while supporting their self esteem. I have regular licensed assistants available to me when needed. I take great pride in caring for children and the end result is seen through them. They are our future.
